Episode II

Perfect Enemy

FADE IN:

As we push in to a royal mausoleum, inscribed in Russian above its entrance the family name of Princess Yulia…

An elegant maroon casket within it.

Dressed in battle gear with a warrior helmet in hand Princess Yulia, a year older than when we last saw her, stares at her mother’s burial site.

She turns to leave, her army of men following their new leader.

INT. CASTLE – DAY

(With the second portion of the Intro) we fall back on a fallen king, his lifeless body surrounded by magenta silks…

Our fall back revealing Princess Lena looking at her deceased father, her hand wrapping around the handle of the sword he used to lead his kingdom.

EXT. DESERT – DAY

Starting from a medium close-up of Princess Yulia on her horse we fall back to an extreme wide shot, her massive army surrounding her as we do so, their proud maroon flags and banners waving in the wind as they trek through the open desert.

EXT.. MOUNTAINOUS TERRAIN – DAY

From an extreme wide shot we push in on another convoy of soldiers, their magenta flags and banners waving just as proudly as they cross mountainous terrain.

Closing in on their leader we see that it’s Princess Lena, dressed for battle like her counterpart.

to make it simple

Try to be something

EXT. BATTLEFIELD – DAY

Atop a small hill Princess Yulia armed with a spear-like weapon, gives her medieval troops a pre-battle speech.

  • Men being impaled.
  • Horses falling over.
  • A sword being blocked with a shield.
  • A warrior’s throat is slashed.
  • Another warrior’s arm cut clean off by a battle ax.

Slo-Mo, Princess Yulia jumps off her horse…

LYRICS

No longer waiting

And slashes upwards with her spear-like weapon, saving a soldier just in time as she cuts the hand off a sword-wielding enemy.

LYRICS

Remove illusions

Again reacting just in time the Princess turns around and instantly THRUSTS into an oncoming attacker…

LYRICS

No more complaining

From the attacker’s impaled chest we push up the long weapon to an extreme close-up of Princess Yulia’s masked face.

LYRICS

Forget confusion

Cutting to Princess Lena, also in Slo-Mo, as the guard of her sword clashes with the guard of an adversary’s sword…

LYRICS

No more compassion

Using the enemy’s body weight to her advantage she does a 360, slicing his stomach open as she comes out of the turn.

LYRICS

Not sentimental

Continuing her skillful movement she then brings the sword up and over her head, allowing it to CRASH DOWN on the adversary that was…

LYRICS

I’ll forever stay

Princess Lena immediately brings the sword back up and chops the elongated weapon in half…
